Centrally situated in a glorious historic church building on the corner of Moray
Place and Stuart Street, the Fortune Theatre is Dunedin’s sole professional theatre.
And as the Southernmost professional theatre on earth, your last chance for a slice
of culture before you fall off the edge of the world!



Our season runs from February to December each year, and with everything from Roger
Hall to Roald Dahl; from Shakespeare to emerging New Zealand playwrights, we really
do have something for everyone.
